We are absolutely thrilled – and incredibly proud – to announce that Cape York Motorcycle Adventures has won GOLD in Adventure Tourism at the 2025 Queensland Tourism Awards, along with SILVER in Tour & Transport Operators.
This achievement represents far more than a trophy. It marks the completion of a five-year journey through the rigorous Queensland Tourism Awards program, a journey of growth, refinement, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Reaching GOLD wasn’t an overnight success story. It took five years of continuous improvement, detailed submissions, deeper storytelling, strengthening our processes, and demonstrating – again and again – why we are the leaders in motorcycle tourism.
Every year taught us something new.
Every judge’s feedback pushed us to elevate our standards.
Every tour we ran strengthened our mission: to deliver life-changing adventures across Cape York and northern Australia.
To finally stand on the stage as Queensland’s GOLD winner for Adventure Tourism is a milestone we will forever cherish – the highest recognition in our industry so far, and a reflection of the passion we’ve poured into this business since 1990.
Winning Gold now means we have the honour of representing Queensland at the Australian Tourism Awards in Fremantle on 6 March 2026.
To take the story of Cape York Motorcycle Adventures – the world’s first eco-certified motorcycle tour company, and the pioneers of Australian off-road tourism – to the national stage is a privilege we don’t take lightly.
Accepting these awards on behalf of the entire business, Renae Kunda proudly stepped forward at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, joined by daughter Emmy, making the moment even more special.
Our win is the result of:
